There is another way. x - 5 ≥ 3 When you see a negative 5 you can bring it to the other side of the equation. Whenever you divide you multiply. Whenever you add you subtract. Vice versa. So you can bring the - 5 over to the other side of the equation. x ≥ 3 + 5 which simply gives you x ≥ 8 You may need to learn this way because some questions will be more difficult
