does water have a constant density at all temperatures? explain

OpenStudy (espex):

Of course it doesn't. All matter changes density when going from a solid -> gas -> liquid transition, water however is one that is unique in that the solid form is less dense than its liquid form, which explains why icebergs float the way they do.
