A function is when no input repeats which means no x coordinate can go to more than one y. So which one has a relation where the x doesn't repeat?

In an ordered pair the first number is x and the second is y. So, if I have an ordered pair of (2,6). x is 2 and y is 6. Now look at your choices. the only relation that an x doesn't repeat is choice B, because your x's are: 1,2,4,9.

vertical line test also proves what I'm saying. If you plot the points and draw vertical lines through each point. Then each line should only go through one point. More than one point makes it NOT a function and if you graph D a vertical line would go through x at 6 twice which proves D is WRONG!
