Write a polynomial division that has a quotient of x + 3 and a remainder of 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

work backwards if you get to choose any one you like, try \((x+3)(x-5)+2\) or any of your choosing

of course you should multiply out, and get \[x^2-2x+3x-15+2=x^2+x-13\] now when you divide, the remainder has to be 2

@satellite73 Thank you very much! That helps a ton. I wasn't sure at first if I had to make the two binomials, but now it makes sense. Thank you :)
