how do you find the slope of a line on a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find any two points that lie on that line. Then use the formula to find slope.\[Slope = \frac{ y2 - y1 }{ x2 - x1 }\] Example. Let's say you have points (4, 5) & (5, 3) (4, 5) = (x1, y1) (5, 3) = (x2, y2) \[slope =\frac{ 3 - 5 }{ 5 - 4 } = \frac{ -2 }{ 1 }= -2\] ^---Slope would be -2.
