Joe's dad had a box 2 ft long, 1 ft high, and 1 ft wide in which to pack items from the garage. After packing a few items, Joe found the box was not big enough. He suggested they use another box that was tewce as long, twice as high,and twice as wide. He said the box would have twice the volume as the first box. Was he right? Explain.
