why no pink color light?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

pink light cannot be made from photons of a single wavelength ,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This has nothing to do with "photons of a single wavelength" (btw: a photon always has a single wavelength). - it only has to do with how color-vision in the human brain works and beyond that it's a philosophical question more than anything else... Watch this[1] praveenr5883, or just read about color-vision on wikipedia... 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9dqJRyk0YM

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

thats right monochromatic red light plus monochromatic blue light makes dichromatic magenta light

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is no wavelength which is pink!!.. infact pink if i remember is just absence of green from white light!

OpenStudy (ghazi):

guys EVERY COLOR IS AN ILLUSION
