I am supposed to write my own magna carta that establishes my rights within my family. I need eight specific points. Can someone help me out by just giving me an idea about how to start.

What would outrage you if your parents denied it to you, because it seems part of custom and tradition? That's how you resemble the barons. Things like: do your parents owe you the chance to present your side of the story, when your sister accuses you of some family crime (not putting away the milk)? Is there some tradition that there are certain privileges you have that can only be taken away for certain levels of offense, e.g. you can't get your cell phone privileges revoked just for sassing, but staying out past curfew works? Your Internet privilieges can't be suspended if you need it for schoolwork? Are you allowed to keep your room just the way you please, except for requirements of sanitation? Is it expected that your parents will knock before entering if the door is closed, and your little sister may be kept out at will? The Magna Carta was essentially a statement of traditional rights and privileges of the barons, vis-a-vis the king. Anything you can think of that is some tradition in your family that limits or specificies the manner in which your parents can exert power over you, or your property, would be similar.
