This question is worded really badly
This is what is bothering me about the question, In her experiment, the biologist removed the species of snake from island A but not from island B. What does the person mean by, "The species". The graph has a y-axis labeled Number of species. I guess you will just have to assume that she means, "a species of snake"
What I gather is that this question is saying that a person removed a species of snakes from an island and then observed the effect it had on that island against a control island that didn't have the species removed
I think that is what she means based on this sentence. Originally, the same species of snake was present on both islands. Also the graph isn't in number of snakes present on the island it is in number of species
why is the number of species moving up and down isn't speciesism a really long process
You are probably right. I think it is really hard to answer a question that isn't easy to grasp. I mean what does she mean by, "the species"
so she took a portion of each species off of island A. You can probably talk about how it would have messed up the balance between predator prey relationships. Talk about competitive relationship between the snakes and how loss of one type of snake can shift the balance etc.
Yeah sorry I'm not more of a help I just feel like this question should have been worded more clearly, you might even be best to ask your prof for some assistance
Yeah it is never the profs fault for poor guidance it is always the students
well good luck man I need to go study for exam tomorrow morning in cell bio 2
