Alex sells T-Shirts. It costs Alex $6.50 to buy each T-Shirt. Alex also pays $150 each month to rent equipment to add print to the T-shirts. Alex sells each T-shirts for $12 bucks How would i solved this help?
what do you want to solve for?
Well first i have to write the problem as an inequality first that can be used to determine the number of T-shirts (T) Alex must sell each month in Order to make a profit for the month. (Assume that Alex sells each T-shirt he buys)
well he makes $5.50 profit off of each shirt so to get to $150 he needs to sell 28 shirts to be at a proft
12-6.50=5.50 150/5.50=27 28=profit
thats all i can help with my bad
Hold on let me try it

Yes that is thank you but how did you get it that what im still tying to do i know i can solve it i just need to know how to get it
All you need to do is think, if he selld the shirts for $12, and your trying to find how many he needsto sell then you would multiply right? but since u dont know the exact numer u just put a variable. and if each shirt costs him 6.50 then u have to take that out of the profit.
So sense it cost alex 6.50 that why you put the subtracting -
Cause it is taking away the 6.50 from the profit. I thnk thats how u do it.
so 12T-6.50>150 when im solving it would i take 150 and times it to 6.50 or would i add it
no I think u could subtract 6.50 from 150, then maybe divide whatever that is by the 12.
