OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

My answer is equal to 9 but if you solve this geometrically the answer is 6...where am I going wrong?

hartnn (hartnn):

x^2/2 + x ----> 9/2+3-1/2-1 = 4+3-1 = 6

hartnn (hartnn):

how u got 9 ??

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

\[(\frac{ 9 }{ 2 }+3)+(\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }+1)\]
