How do I get it to where sin is on one side alone?? I need sin^2x alone.. Thanks!

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

will you please elaborate your query ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's my equation. In order to find what \[\sin^2x\] equals, I need to get it alone. But I just don't know how to get it out of the denominator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can I just cross multiply?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

ya why not..cross multiply simply..that should do the trick,..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thanks :)

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You can also just invert the fractions. so 4 becomes 1/4, and 1/sin^2x becomes sin^2x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, okay. That's a lot easier. Thanks!! :)

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

No prob :)
