and you know every time obviously when a variable equals something or anything in general equals something its alone for example
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
you know R = 5. in that statement R is alone because R equals 5what i mean by alone is like there is no numbers on the R's side of the equal sign you sort of understand?
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
you there?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
kind of and the answer is
OpenStudy (anonymous):
-16

ok do you know every time that you know something is equal to something for example
P = 6. That makes sense right?
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
it doesnt make sense if there is an equation like 3R = 4
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
so in order to make the t alone like my example
OpenStudy (ryan123345):
you have to take out the - 13 right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yea

so to take out that - 13 you have to do the opposite to it so the opposite of - 13 is positive 13 right? And if they are added together they make 0 you get me?
