write a second inequality with the same meaning -23>and this is under it_ b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-23geb\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really understand, what do you mean under it, and what are g and e? Can you draw it maybe?

Oh, ok, thanks! That means greater than or equal to. A handy trick you can do with inequalities is switch the sign and switch the arrows. By this I mean you can make 23 positive instead of negative, if you also turn the arrow round the other way so it's less than or equal to instead! Does that make sense? I can try and explain why that works if you want!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 23 less than or equal to b or -b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Positive b, yeah!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
