The population of a certain country can be modeled by the equation , where P(t)=40e^0.02t is the population in millions and t is the number of years since 1900. When will the population be 100 million, 200 million, and 400 million? What do you notice about these time periods? i dont like story problems :s they make my head hurt.

me neither

\[40e^{.02t}=100\] \[e^{.02t}=2.5\] \[.02t=\ln(2.5)\] \[t=\frac{\ln(2.5)}{.02}\] others are solved in an identical fashion
