(3x-2)(x-3) / (3-x)(3+x) If I factor out a negative from the numerator, can I only do this with the (x-3) term or do I also need to apply this to the (3x-2) term? Thanks! :)

Only the (x-3) term in this case, because then you'll get (3-x) which cancels with the (3-x) from the denominator.

\[(3x-2)(-1)(3-x) \over (3-x)(3+x)\]Thats what it will look like
