How on earth would I graph f(x)=2(x+2)²(x+4)²

OpenStudy (anonymous):

insert x=0 to find the y-intercept,which is (0, 128), then because of the two terms being +2 and +4, they will touch the x-axis at x= -2 and x= -4. Because the two terms are squared, they will touch the axis and turn the opposite direction they were headed. The left side of the graph will start from the top, and because the degree is even, will end in the same direction it started in. Hope this helps.
