h(x) =-|x-2| domain range transformation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so what is the transformation first? clue - there's 2 ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

... what is a transformation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*are the transformations i should say

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its down 2 for the transformation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. so absolute values are of the form a|x-b| + c. so look at (x-3)^2 and (x-2)^2 and (x-a)^2 for example. what happens?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude what...srsly i dont get any of this its late im tired this is for my final just like give me the answer....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whoops I totally misinterpreted that problem, ignore my mistake and listen to this guy he knows what he's talking about :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

........................................ sorry answers aren't given. but function(x-a) is shifted to the right by a. http://www.purplemath.com/modules/fcntrans.htm

hero (hero):

Is anyone going to address what the domain or range might be?

hero (hero):

@kimdre10, do you have any thoughts on what the domain might be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hero i'm doing transformations first.

hero (hero):

I could have sworn that @kimdre10 posted the problem. In any case, I was asking her
