The easiest way would be to take it from standard form, which you have, to slope intercept form. Slope int form is perfect because it has exactly what it sounds like: the slope, and the y intercept. Slope intercept form: y = mx + b M is the slope, and b is the y intercept. For example, if i had y = 2/3x -6, the y intercept would be -6, and the slope 2/3 For your specific problem, you need to carry over the x term, and isolate the y. Subtract by 5x, and divide by -3, and you should get what you need, into slope-int form.
