WILL SOMEONE HELP ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

RADICALS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat u mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u i might be able to help u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-\sqrt{27}+3\sqrt{3}+2\sqrt{45}+3\sqrt{12}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all you can do here is simplify 3√12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2\sqrt{6}+3\sqrt{45}-2\sqrt{54}-3\sqrt{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3√12 is 3√4x3, the square root of 4 is 2 which pops out and u multiply the 3 by 2 to have 6√3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should have 9√3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the 2nd one or the 1st one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, i thought this was one problem, so you want to simplify the first one right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

−√27 + 3√3 + 2√45 +2√45 + 3√12 is where we start right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

crap i have 2squarerrot 45 twice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take one out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

−√27 + 3√3 + 2√45 + 3√12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3√12 can become 3√(4)(3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do u work it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since 2 is the SRoot of 4, it comes out to me multiplied by the 3 on the outside, leaving the 3 inside to become 6√3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(2)√3 which is 6√3, now you can add this to the other 3√3 in the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add wat one and i think u so much for helpin me thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

−√27 + 3√3 +(6√3) + 2√45 you can only add radicals when they are the same inside

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i add 3and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we can actually simplify the 2 sroot 45. Give me a few min to show you how. Come back in about 5 minutes and it will be done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright think u so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):
