What is the equation of the given line in standard form? Use integer coefficients. y = -6.9x + 5.1 A. -69x + 10y = 51 B. 69x + 10y = 51 C. 69x + 10y = -51 D. -69x + 10y = -51

B, I will provide an explanation if needed.

yes please , because i have another problem similar to this and im not sure how to solve them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Standard form of a line looks like \(Ax+By=C\) where \(A,B,C\) are integers and \(A\) is positive (note there is no *unique* standard form for a given line unless you specify \(A\),\(B\),\(C\) are coprime). Let's rearrange our equation until it's in standard form:$$y=-6.9x+5.1\\6.9x+y=5.1$$Okay, we're part of the way there. We need to make our coefficients all integers, though, and currently \(A\),\(C\) are not. Since they have only 1 decimal point, let's multiply through by \(10\):$$69x+10y=51$$Look, we're done!

thank you!
