lim x->0 xsin(1/x)=?

OpenStudy (dls):

@experimentX ..

OpenStudy (experimentx):

0

OpenStudy (dls):

i know its 0 but why..sin(1/x) would be a finite number?if so then why..

OpenStudy (experimentx):

isn't this obvious? as x->0, sin(1/x) wiggles between -1 and +1 and the x at the front kill it.

OpenStudy (dls):

oh yeah okay :o

OpenStudy (experimentx):

also there's another way to do it. substitute t=1/x

OpenStudy (experimentx):

you can do this by method sin(x)/x .. and not the least .. you can use L'hopital rule.

OpenStudy (dls):

yeah,i got it

OpenStudy (dls):

i thought it had got smt to do with sin inverse x and stuff
