Why the voltmeter shows no voltage when we take a diode and measure its voltage out of any network
i mean since there's an elecric field inside shouldn't the voltmeter measure a voltage
what am i missng here?

you would get an voltage only if the doides only if it reverse biased. For example you get a voltage across a resistor as it blocks the flow of current. But in the case of diodes, it offers approximately a zero resistance and produces a very small drop of about 0.7v across it. which is almost zero. Thats y you dont get a voltage when u measure across the diode.
