OpenStudy (chihiroasleaf):

if we have two angles, and their sum is 180 degrees, then we call the angles as supplementary angles or supplement each other..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, but I need a number. I already knew that. :)

I have no idea what to do...

OpenStudy (chihiroasleaf):

to find the supplement of angles GBC.., you need to find the measure of angle GBC first.., you have the measure of angle 2 is 27.., can you find the measure of angle GBC?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind, I got the answer wrong too many times and it won't let me go back to do it. Sorry, I have no idea what to do. Sorry for wasting your time. Bye, and thanks. :)

Directrix (directrix):

@NeonKnightmare From the diagram, angle 2 and angle GBC are vertical angles. Vertical angles are angles whose sides form two pairs of opposite rays. Theorem: Vertical angles are congruent. So, the measure of angle GBC is 27. Supplementary angles are two angles the sum of whose measures is 180. So, subtract 27 from 180 and you should have the supplement of angle GBC's measure.
