PROBLEM: For several days the southern United States has experienced a severe drought. One lake is presently ten feet below its normal depth. However, an unusual large snowfall occurred this winter. OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 0.25x-10

OpenStudy (nubeer):

well in my opinion ,, i am nt sure of answer but here it goes number of days x current level of lake = -10 feet so for each snowy day = 1/4 so for x number of snowy days = 1/4(x) 1/4 (x) -10
