How does the structure in Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken" reinforce its content?
What do you think is the the structure and the content?
well it has 4 stanzas and each stanza has 5 lines. For the question, you do not talk about the rhyming scheme since there is a separate question for poetic devices. I should have put the question as how does the structure in ANY poem affect the content. But, I'd like to see a specific answer for this poem first. BTW this is me studying for exams, not me trying to copy an answer down.
Sorry forgot about the content part, the content is a bout the speaker trying to make a decision of which path to take. (It is made clear that the path is referring to a decision in life), in his case this decision would be permanent and he wouldn't be able to turn around (as said in line 15). The theme is probably that the path that you decide to take in life may not always be the most common.
