Question

Suppose that we are testing a mine for two different types of minerals, A and B. Of all the wells, 25% had no minerals, 45% had mineral A and 50% had mineral B (so some had to have both minerals A and B). If we choose a well at
random, and the probability distribution for Y , the number of minerals found in the mine.

I'm having trouble with it. I'm new to this stuff. I'll post what i've figured out so far.
