If frequency is kept constant, how are the velocity and wavelength of a wave related?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wavelength equals velocity / frequency

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if frequency stays the same and velocity goes up then wavelength goes up, and vise versa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Velocity = wave length / time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Velocity = wave length * Frequency

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are "directly proportional", is what you would say i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!:)
