Simplify 3!/4! Why are there !'s? The answer is .75 right?

Nope. If u ! after a number u call it as factorial. 3!=3*2*1 similarly 4!=4*3*2*1
4! = 4x3x2 3!=3x2 24/6=4

Use a calculator. But it is pretty clear it is 1/4 or 0.25
The exclamation mark means factorial. In this case 3! Is (3 x 2 x 1) If It was let's say, 6! It would be (6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1) So in your question 3!/4 is 3x2x1 divided by 4 which is 6 divided by 4, which is 0.75 :) glad I could help.
