How do you do commands? Is there a grammar rule to write commands in spanish?
Yeah. When we want to give an INFORMAL command (to a friend, or a dog), we just use the (El/Ella/Usted) form of the verb. Here's an example: "Por favor, habla con ella." It means, "Please, speak with her." ~~~~~~~~~~ When we want to give a, INFORMAL NEGATIVE command, we take the (El/Ella/Usted) form of the verb, and then we CHANGE THE LAST LETTER. If the last letter is an A, change it to an E. If the last letter is an E, change it to an A. Then add an S. For example: "Por favor, no hables con ella." "Please, don't speak with her." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, once again, POSITIVE INFORMAL commands: 1. Just take the (El/Ella/Usted) form of the verb. NEGATIVE INFORMAL commands: 1. Take the (El/Ella/Usted form of the verb. 2. Change the last letter (A to E, or E to A) 3. Add an S onto the end.
What about irregular tu' commands, like hacer -----> haz, no hagas
Okay. There are eight irregular command words, that we need to memorize. They are.... DI (decir) HAZ (hacer) PON (poner) TEN (tener) SAL (salir) SE (ser) VE (ir) VEN (venir) And again, since they're irregular, the best thing that we can do is to memorize them. Here, repeat them to yourself: DI HAZ PON TEN SAL SE VE VEN It kinda rhymes, you see? It'll help you remember, to recite them in that order.
And the NEGATIVE forms are pretty easy to figure out. You know "No hagas." NO DIGAS NO HAGAS NO PONGAS NO TENGAS NO SALGAS NO SEAS NO VAYAS NO VENGAS
ALso for the irregulars, you can memorize this: "Vin Diesel Has Ten Weapons." Because "VIN DI SAL HAZ TEN VE PON SE"
That's a neat trick. Thing is "vin" isn't a Spanish word. I think you mean to say "ven" which means "come."
