Graph the two equations to solve the system. What is the solution? 3x + 2y = 6 and y = -3/2 x - 1 (2, 0) (1, 1.5) no solution infinitely many solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start by solving the first equation for y. so subtract 3x from both sides and divide both sides by 2. y= -3/2+1. now look at the other equation and notice they have the same slope. Because they have the same slope the two lines can never cross so there can't be a solution. heres a rough sketch|dw:1359693193574:dw|
