OpenStudy (abb0t):

Things don't always go accordingly, you cannot control the way things happen in most situations. Life is more complex than that, however, by thinking critically, scientists are able to make predictions/ assumptions, to how certain things may go. From a chemist's perspective, looking at certain factors of a certain molecule, it might be possible to predict a reaction between two molecules. Similarly, how might other factors help or not help to make the reaction go as you want. If you just go by basic rules and non-application, then how are we to explain the results? Can the results be fixed? Why might have the results come out wrong? And so forth.
