Applying Kirchhoff’s Rules to circuits written in electronics style is straightforward. (a) Find the nodes, places where three or more wires join. (b) Assign a current, including direction, to each branch. (c) At each node, currents in must equal currents out. (d) The voltage drop from battery to ground equals the drop over resistors and LEDs.
