How do you construct a 112.5 degree angle? (step by step) Please help =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First break it down into its components. For example a 90 degree + (half a 45 degree)

Wow thanks for your help but i am not understanding .-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can draw a 90 degree by drawing two 60 degrees on top of eachother, then halving one of them gives (60+60/2)=90

I know how to construct a 90 degree angle, i am just having a problem with the construction of a 112.5 degree angle. I really appreciate that you are helping me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to construct angles on top of previously constructed angles

Can you explain to me step by step please? Eg- Step one- Draw a line...etc

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

112.5=90+ (1/2)(45) draw 2 perpendicular lines construct an angle bisector on one of the right angles construct an angle bisector on one of the acute angles
