Honestly first off I would rewrite your graph as it's hard to understand your numbers, I usually write them on the lines themselves, but whatever you are more comfortable I guess.
Next please include 0, and map that to 2.5, as you started @ 1 @3.0

I see you used gimp so I can see why your numbering is as it is, it might be to start at 0/2.5, even though why would you only go 0 miles for 2.5; however I might be wrong. It might be best to go with 1 and 3.0, just to be safe.
