Determine the number of grams needed to weigh out 0.25 moles of NaCl 0.50 moles of NaCl 1.0 moles of NaCl 0.25 moles of CaCl2

You need to find out what is the molar mass of each compund. Na has an atomic mass of 22.99g and Cl has an atomic mass of 35.45g. Since there are no subscripts on each element, you do not have to do anything else except for add them together. On your last one, multiply 35.45 by 2 since there are 2 Cl molecules. So back to number one. When you add those two numbers together to get 58.44g/mol. That is the atomic mass of NaCl. Now multiply .25 by that number by using stoichemomitry (I think thats how you spell it) to get 14.61g. Hope that helps. 1) 14.61g 2) 29.22g 3) 58.44g 4) 27.75g
