can someone help me with this problem "Im dealing with Trig identities, inverse functions, and equations> Multiply and Simplify (sin x +csc x) (sin^2 x +CSC^2 x - 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the answer is \[\sin ^{3}x + \csc ^{3}x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how do they arrive at this answer?

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

U havent learnred about miltiplying trig functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i just multipy by each term?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

before you begin, turn \(\csc^2(x)-1\) into \(\cot^2(x)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what im more confused about is what happens to the -1
