a linear graph is a LINEar graph , if it looks like a line then it is linear. but that is not the case here

The question of whether an absolute value function is linear is debated, but it looks (from a quick google search) that it is NOT considered to be a linear function since the entire graph cannot be written as y = mx + b.

thats the rule right? the value of b has some vertical intercept and there is change in f(x)
