"Amount of heat released" doesn't sound right... the ice absorbs heat when changing phase to liquid.

So, 4.184 J for 1 degree increase for 1 gram. For 1 gram to move 1 degree requires 4.184 J. 100 grams require 4.184 J times 10 (degrees up) times 100 (number of grams)=? What is the product of 4.184 * 10* 100. I think but am not certain that that's the number of needed Js.
