56 days is equal to three half-lives (14x3 = 56) so the sample will decay by half three times. What's half of half of half of 8?
actually, 14x4 = 56. so 4 half lives will occur.. from 8g, it will become 4g, then 2g then 1g, and then finally, 0.5g
