Ok, so you want to rewrite that into its factors to find out what you can take out. \[\sqrt{4*7*u^{12}}\] From here, you know the square root of 4 is 2, so you can take that out and rewrite it as \[2\sqrt{7u^{12}}\] Now \[u^{12}\] is really the same thing as \[u^{6}^{2}\], meaning you can take out the \[u^{6}\], and you are left with \[2u^{6} \sqrt{7}}\]
