which body system cell needs centrioles?
DNA has Centrioles. S is the synthesis phase, in which a cell makes a duplicate copy of its centrioles and all of its nuclear DNA. In G2, a cell finishes replicating its centrioles and synthesizes enzymes that control cell division. The centrioles begin to sprout elongated microtubules called spindle fibers, which push the centrioles apart as they grow. Eventually, a pair of centrioles comes to lie at each pole of the cell. A centriole (SEN-tree-ole) is a short cylindrical assembly of microtubules, arranged in nine groups of three microtubules each. Mature neurons have no centrioles and apparently undergo no further mitosis after adolescence; however, they are unusually long-lived cells, capable of functioning for over a hundred years.
