cos v=0.2079 A) 47° B) 61° C) 78° D) 72°

OpenStudy (zehanz):

Use the cos^-1 (inverse cosine or arccos) function on your calculator...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm what.. i have no clue how to do this at all.

OpenStudy (zehanz):

The cos function on the calculator takes an angle (like 30 degrees) as input. It returns...the cosine of that angle. Now you don't know the angle, but you do have the cosine of that angle. If only you could somehow reverse the cos-button on your calculator, you would be able to get the angle that comes with a cosine of 0.2079... But wait! There is a way: just use the cos^-1 (inverse cosine or arccos) function. How? Depends. Sometimes it is <2nd> cos, Sometimes it is <shift> cos Sometimes it is <arc> cos Just have a look on your calculator
