Hello, I really need some help with independent probabilities; I'm studying for a test:). Question: A coin is flipped 10 times, the results are recorded. What is the theoretical probability that then coin will land on tails on the 11th flip?

hartnn (hartnn):

Since every output of the coin flipped is independent of previous flip output, the output of 11th flip will not depend on any of the 10 flips, it'll same as flipping the coin once, for which we have 2 outcomes head and tail with equal probabilities, so, probability that then coin will land on tails on the 11th flip will be ?
