Use this unit circle http://www.math.ucsd.edu/~jarmel/math4c/Unit_Circle_Angles.png and you'll find that sin(x) = 0 when x = 0 degrees, x = pi degrees, and when x = 2pi degrees This is because the y coordinate of each point at these angles is 0.
