Here you can substitute directly to get an answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-4 directly sub the value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plug in your values of x to complete the chart given.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I multiply all those by -4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NB: \[\lim_{x \rightarrow c} f(x) = f(c)\] iff f is continuous at c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm lost...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean x must not be eguals to 2. Since on your table x is not eguals to 2 then you can substitute x by all the relevent numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm still confused...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All this question is asking you to do is plug in the values on the table, into the equation and to find the answer. The limit will become more accurate as the number being input is closer to zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo, (-0.1)^3 -6(-0.1) +8 / (-0.1) -2
