@ParthKohli
In the State of Florida, a redfish must be at least 18 inches long, but no more than 27 inches long for the fish to be considered a keeper. Choose the combined inequality that describes this scenario.
18 less than or greater to x less than or greater to 27
x greater than or equal to 18 and x greater than or equal to 27
x less than or greater to 18 or x greater than or equal to 27
none of the above

\(x\) is more than 18, but it can be 18. Similarly, \(x\) is less than 27... but it could also equal 27.
OpenStudy (dmezzullo):
huh?
Parth (parthkohli):
Let's take an example:
\(3 \ge x \ge 1 \) means \(x\) is more than or equal to \(1\), but \(x\) is ALSO less than or equal to \(3\).
OpenStudy (dmezzullo):
Ok.
Parth (parthkohli):
Can you use that example? I don't know how to explain this more simply.
