i need help bad on geometry anyone wanna explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ByteMe okay well it says this: <EFG and GFH are a linear pair, m<EFG=2n+21 and m<GFH=4n+21 what are <m EFG and m< GFH?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the two angles form a LINEAR PAIR, that means the sum of their measure is 180 degrees... Can you set up an equation that depicts this situation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@byteme yes i know that. and no idont understand how to do that :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m<EFG + m<GFH = 180 (2n + 21) + (4n + 21) = 180 Solve this equation for n, then substitute the solution back into the expression for each angle you need....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so how do i solve for n> if you dont mind explaining. @byteme

Directrix (directrix):

From work above: (2n + 21) + (4n + 21) = 180 6n + 42 = 180 Pick up the solution from there @ovoxoyari._
