How do I find the point of discontinuity for 6-3x/x^2-5x+6=y? Please explain all steps.

well if take out all the points where the function is defined what we call domain then you will not find any point in the domain where this function is discontinuous(taking of only polynomial functions) so we consider the real number line and the points where denominator is zero is the answer

yes if you talk of find all the points of discontinuity in the domain of the function then you won`t find any and there is no point asking this question whereas in your question there is no mention of domain so we have to find points of discontinuity over the real numbers and for finding those numbers find those values where denominator is zero
