OpenStudy (klimenkov):

How to write this symbol in LaTeX?

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

|dw:1362324074934:dw|

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\uparrow \downarrow\]

Parth (parthkohli):

That?

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\Updownarrow\]Or this?

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

Lol. I know there is \upuparrows \(\upuparrows\). I thought there is something similar.

Parth (parthkohli):

Nope, there exists no such symbol. The closest is \uparrow \downarrow.

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\updownarrow \]Or even this.

Parth (parthkohli):

Anyway, I hope that `\uparrow \downarrow` resolved it.

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

The first is ok. But I want perfect arrows.

Parth (parthkohli):

Was this question reported? :-|

Parth (parthkohli):

Perfect arrows? :-\

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

\upuparrows is the whole symbol and it is perfect. There is nothing to invent. But with \uparrow \downarrow it is a bit tricky, so is not perfect.

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\newcommand{\updownarrow}{\uparrow \downarrow} \updownarrow \]Well, there's `\updownarrow`

Parth (parthkohli):

But it'd work only on this page. X-D

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

Ahahah, lol. I would give you one more medal for your trick and resourcefulness if I could.

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

Why there are \(\leftrightarrows\) and \(\leftleftarrows\), but there are no \(\updownarrows\) ? I am disappointed.

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

\(\downuparrows\) :'(

OpenStudy (klimenkov):

@ParthKohli Can I somehow rotate symbols?

Parth (parthkohli):

Well, you can't really do that.

Parth (parthkohli):

Only with the help of packages, which MathJax doesn't support, can you do so.
